In the Institute of Psychology, at the University of Lübeck, the newly established laboratory of “Social Psychology/Neuroscience of decision” (Prof. Dr. Soyoung Q Park) is looking for a Postdoctoral researcher or doctoral candidates. (m/f) (E13 TV-L)
For a period of 3 years. The position can be filled by a Postdoc researcher (100%) or by two doctoral candidates (50%).
The goal of the lab is to investigate the neural mechanisms underlying decision mak- ing in the human brain with the help of structural and functional MRI, EEG and brain stimulation. The focus is reward-based decisions and decisions in social contexts.
Successful candidate must hold a degree in psychology or in related fields (cognitive science, biology, neuroscience or other). Experience in acquisition and analysis of hu- man neuroimaging data (fMRI, EEG or MEG) are desired, excellent programming skills in Matlab and advanced statistical analysis will be preferred. Interest and/or experi- ence in the field of decision neuroscience are required. Fluency in German and English is obligatory. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who enjoys teamwork and is self-organized.
